SAVIO is a family business founded in 1958 by Paolino Savio dealing with coffee roasting and production of spirits.
From the beginning Paolino has been inspired by the search for high-quality products and for this reason he personally developed strong relationships with producers and partners in Central and South America, also acquiring a specific expertise in the liquor sector. After few years SAVIO started to directly produce traditional liquors from Italy and Aosta Valley, land where the company is based.

After 30 years of business in Italy and abroad Paolino was then supported in the development of the company by his son Marco, who mainly dealt with the expansion of the product range and the development of new markets.
Today the company is still being managed by the SAVIO family following the values having inspired the foundation of the business, and it is operating in 25 foreign Countries with continuous innovations in the range of products and services offered to the customers.
Thanks to the experience acquired through its own brands, SAVIO is now able to produce private labels of spirits and liqueurs for its own customers, supporting them throughout the whole process (from the distillate supply to the bottling, to the packaging, ...) to meet the specific needs of each market.

Paolino Savio included sugar in his business, and also the trade in spirits both at domestic and international level. After few years he launched the production of typical spirits such as Grappa and Génépi.
Marco Savio became SAVIO Chief Executive Officer working alongside his father Paolino. Thanks to his creativity he has contributed to the development of new products, from Absinthe to Vodka to some typical Italian spirits.
Relocation of the production line and the warehouses to the new plant in Châtillon (Aosta, Italy). Strengthening of the partnerships with Rum producers in Panama for the creation of some types of Rum especially shaped for Savio with exclusive recipe.
Launch of the Rum Malecon line followed after few years by the new Ron Malteco line, both made with the rum produced and aged in Panama on an exclusive Savio’s recipe.
Savio turned 50 and the anniversary was celebrated with the launch of a special product: Génépi Fior d’Acqua Alpina (i.e. Flower of Alpine Water). The company was operating in 15 markets and kept expanding abroad both with the range of rums and with the typical liquors from Aosta Valley and Italy.
After few years of researches Savio launched its first Organic Génépi (Paolino Génépi Bio) and the Rare Proof Rum Malecon family featuring a higher alcohol volume. The Ron Malteco range was widened with the addition of a new line of younger rums for cocktails.
Savio is operating in 25 Countries with its own brands and is keeping developing its range also by adding lines specifically created for its own customers.
